Abstract The analysis of the legislation of foreign countries for murder and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm by exceeding the limits of necessary defense. The characteristic features of the application of criminal law in Ukraine and in Europe in particular Prospects of improving the criminal legislation of Ukraine.
